Event and activity representative - Nesvellir Reykjanesbær

Hrafnista is looking to hire a functional and event representative for a strong rehabilitation team at Hrafnista Nesvellir. It is a new job within the team, with the opportunity to shape the role and actively participate in the development of the rehabilitation work.

The aim of the work is to increase services to residents related to activity and social work in the nursing departments of the home.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning and preparation of events at Hrafnista Nesvällir
• Manage social activity in departments and engage staff
• Encourage residents to function and participate through an individualized approach
• Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Namaste at times 
• O.fl.

Note The work will be constantly developing and shaping the needs of the home.

Educational and competency requirements

• University education that is useful in work
• Good command of Icelandic conditions
• Experience in social work or event management is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Initiative, positivity and independent working methods

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.
