Project manager at the nursing department - Hraunvangur

Hrafnista Hraunvangi is looking to hire a project manager in the nursing department for a 100% employment rate.

The project manager in the nursing department works closely with the department heads and carries out shift reporting, assists in recruitment and reception processes for new recruits, as well as carrying out diverse tasks that are available in the departments and the entire home.

We are looking for a positive, independent and organized person who is ready to take on diverse tasks in a fun and lively environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Creation of shift reports and monitoring of time registrations
  • Assistance in recruitment and reception of new staff
  • Monitoring and registration of leave, work obligation and i.e.
  • Analytical work
  • Reception and follow-up with new household members
  • A variety of projects related to the activities of the home
  • General secretarial duties and other incidental tasks

Education and qualifications:

  • Experience in shift reporting or solid experience in shift work in the nursing department is an advantage
  • Mytimeplan shift system experience an advantage
  • Education that is useful in work is an advantage
  • Good computer skills essential
  • Positivity, independence and good communication skills
  • Accuracy and organizational skills
  • Good diagnostic ability
  • Knowledge of collective agreements is an advantage

Hrafnista operates eight nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur, Hlévangur and Nesvellir.
