Hrafnista Boðaþingi is looking to hire a nurse who is interested in tackling diverse and rewarding projects. 

Work rate is a matter of agreement, but it is important that the person can take weekend and evening shifts mixed with day shifts. An advantage is if the person can be in a high employment rate, but not a requirement.

Educational and competency requirements

• Icelandic nursing license
• Professional ambition
• Initiative and independence in work
• Icelandic skills preferred
• Knowledge of the RAI measuring device is an advantage
• Interpersonal skills
• Good overview and organizational skills

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.

Hrafnista Boðaþing recently opened a new and elegant department where 64 residents live. Now 108 residents live in the home.

Hrafnista's goal is to provide excellent service for residents and other service recipients to experience safety, trust and well-being To support this goal, Hrafnista works according to a philosophy that describes what experience, culture and feeling we want to create for both service recipients and staff. The philosophy is the heart of the business, but at the same time, projects are being worked on designed to improve the work environment and develop the service.
