100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth

It was rather more happy on the hill on 21 April when residents and staff at Hrafnista Hraunvang made a happy day to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth of Britain. Refreshments were in the royal spirit, Afternoon tea was served and toast was toasted in sparkling wine.

Guests arrived in their finest polish and many wore hats in the spirit of the Queen Employees worked together to make the moment as grand as possible, contributing beautiful poses, fabrics and ornaments.

Albert Eiríksson from the Icelandic Royalist Association gave a speech and Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir delighted those present with beautiful singing.
