
A conference on Namaste treatment for people with dementia was held in London on September 25 last. but the Namaste approach aims to increase the well-being of people with advanced dementia. Sunnefa Lindudóttir, director of the nursing department at Hrafnista in Skógarbær, gave a talk at the conference where she discussed, among other things, Namaste's implementation of Hrafnista and how Hrafnista works with the approach.
At Hrafnista, Namaste is designed for people who cannot participate in traditional social activities. The main focus is loving touch and working with senses such as smell, music and sense of taste.
