Salary representative

Hrafnista wishes to hire a payroll officer to work in Hrafnista's payroll department. A payroll officer is responsible for payroll processing at one of Hrafnista's nursing homes The job includes, among other things, calculating and processing wages based on a time registration system, as well as providing management and staff with information and advice on acquired rights and their status.

The payroll department has five payroll officers, along with a team leader The department is part of the finance department, one of Hrafnista's support areas. It works in close cooperation with other support areas, especially human resources departments.

It is a temporary job for one year. Applications will be processed as soon as they are received.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Wage processing and salary completion
• Registrations in pay and time registration systems
• Providing information and communication with staff and managers regarding salaries
• Other incidental tasks

Educational and competency requirements

• Primary university education or good work experience in the relevant field is required
• Good Excel skills
• Numerical ability
• Organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Independence and initiative in work
• Positivity and ambition in work

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.
