Hrafnista has put the Just Speak Icelandic Teaching app into use for its staff. Hrafnistu employs a large and powerful group of staff with a mother tongue other than Icelandic. Hrafnista places great emphasis on supporting its staff to learn Icelandic and is Just speaking intended for staff who are at the 1st and 2nd level of Icelandic teaching in Hrafnistu. By adding the app, diversity is increased in Icelandic teaching and people can learn Icelandic anywhere and anytime.
Just speaking is based on artificial intelligence and Icelandic language technology, where the emphasis is on pronunciation, pronunciation, conversations and vocabulary. It is our hope that the app will be useful for people to practice in a safe environment when it suits them.
The app contains both general and work-related vocabulary that strengthens staff and increases their skills, self-confidence and safety at work.
