Hrafnista's staff in Boðaþing defended their Lífshlaup championship from last year, and this is the third time in four years that Hrafnista Boðaþing is celebrating the victory that Lífshlaup champions Hrafnista. The life race is an annual health and motivation project of the Icelandic Sports and Olympic Association that appeals to all age groups. In the Life Run, all citizens are encouraged to consider their daily exercise and increase it as much as possible, i.e. in free time, in and from work and school and when choosing a mode of transport.
A workplace competition in the Life Run lasts for three weeks in February, and the staff at Hrafnistuheimil have not left their mark In recent years, numerous movement groups have been established within Hrafnista, and the households have since competed with each other for the title of Life Run Champions Hrafnista. The names of all participants in the Life Run at Hrafnista then went into the pot and many names of employees who are expecting auspicious prizes in the coming days have been drawn from the pot at random.
The effort certainly brings the otherwise dark month of February to life, and it was spectacular to watch the performance of the staff.
The attached photo was taken when some of the participants of Hrafnista Boðaþing welcomed Hrafnista's traveling trophy for preservation for a year as Hrafnistu's Life Run Champions 2025. Congratulations to Boðaþing!
Hrafnista congratulates all participants on their excellent performance!
