On this special day, we at Hrafnista would like to give you heartfelt greetings and thanks for your invaluable contribution to Icelandic society. You have stood guard in peace and war, put life and soul into ensuring the survival and safety of the people - often in difficult conditions and far from home.
Many of our residents and visitors to Hrafnista themselves have had a long career at sea, and so this day carries with it deep meaning and memories We have great respect for the heritage you have left behind and the heroic spirit that seafaring requires.
