Project manager of construction - Seamen's Day Council

The Seamen's Day Council is looking for a strong project manager to lead projects related to new construction and housing improvements The project manager oversees works at the design and construction stage, makes plans and supervises construction at the construction site The project manager follows up on the operation of projects being within the cost and time frame and ensures minimization of disruption to the operator's operations due to housing improvements.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Expert advice and/or project management of new construction and renovation projects
• Creation and follow-up of time and cost estimates
• Monitoring of quality, safety and progress at the construction site
• Participation in initiative projects within the Seamen's Council 
• Other incidental tasks in consultation with the manager

Educational and competency requirements

• University education in the field of civil engineering 
• Successful experience in project management related to structures at the design and construction stage
• Experience in creating time, project and cost estimates at the design and implementation stage
• Skills in text creation and presentation of content
• Knowledge and experience of the concept of eco-design is an advantage
• Experience using design software
• Rich communication skills, customer service and the ability to work in a team
• Organizational skills, initiative as well as a positive and solution-oriented attitude
