Hrafnista óskar eftir að ráða iðjuþjálfa í öfluga endurhæfingardeild á Nesvöllum í Reykjanesbæ. Endurhæfingardeildin samanstendur af sjúkra- og iðjuþjálfum, íþróttafræðingu og aðstoðarfólki og er teymisvinna því mikil. Teymið vinnur náið saman og stýrir endurhæfingu og þjálfun íbúa hjúkrunarheimilisins. Jafnframt er unnið í þverfaglegu teymi með deildarstjórum hjúkrunardeilda og öðru fagfólki.

The job is varied and requires independent work practices, solution-oriented thinking and good communication skills. In Hrafnista's rehabilitation team, occupational therapists strive to work individually and look for ways to meet each individual's needs.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Participates in diagnosis, rehabilitation and training program
• Participates in the organization of rehabilitation in departments
• Advice and applications for assistive devices
• Education for residents and staff
• Teamwork

Educational and competency requirements

• Icelandic work permit as an occupational therapist 
• Interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Organizational skills, initiative and independence in working methods
• Icelandic skills
