Assistant in the rehabilitation department - Boðaþing

Hrafnista in Boðaþing wishes to hire an organized and independent person in a position that assists physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation department. 

Employment rate is 80%.

The person concerned comes to work under the guidance of a physiotherapist and occupational therapist The work is varied and takes place in the departments, equipment room and studios of the home. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Assist occupational and physical therapists
• Assist in the rehabilitation of residents
• Enforce resident training program
• Guide, encourage and assist residents with crafts and social activities
• Teamwork

Educational and competency requirements

• Good communication skills
• Initiative and independence
• Positivity and customer service
• Icelandic skills conditions

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.
