Laundry worker

Hrafnista Laugarás wants to hire an employee for specialized projects related to washing, specific cleaning and other household chores.

Employment rate is a matter of agreement, but attendance is during working hours.

Good Icelandic skills and/or excellent English skills conditions.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Labeling, reception and distribution of linen in departments
• Washing rags, whiskeys and i.e.
• Supervision of deep cleaning and cleaning of chairs in the hall, armchairs in the wards
• Ordering cleaning products
• Monitoring of room maintenance needs before a new resident moves in.

Educational and competency requirements

• Experience in similar work is an advantage
• Icelandic language skills and/or excellent English skills conditions
• Positivity, customer service and communication skills conditions

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.
