Nursing student - part-time with school this fall

Hrafnista on Sléttuvegi is looking to hire part-time nursing students or paramedics from August/September. The person takes on the role of shift manager every other weekend, 25-30% employment rate. Students who have completed pharmacy can take nursing shifts under the guidance of a nurse.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide and record nursing treatment with reference from an experienced nurse
  • Responsibility for monitoring household administration
  • General care
  • Other incidental tasks
  • Duty management

Educational and competency requirements

  • Have completed at least one year of nursing
  • Good communication skills
  • Independence and punctuality
  • Positivity and ambition in work

Hrafnista operates seven nursing homes in the capital area and in Reykjanesbær. They are Laugarás, Sléttuvegur, Skógarbær, Boðaþing, Ísafold, Hraunvangur and Nesvellir.
